Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano met for the third time Friday evening, and MMA Junkie had you covered with live results and highlights throughout the event.
The trilogy boxing match was scheduled for 10 two-minute rounds and took place at Madison Square Garden in New York. Prelims can be viewed in the video above. The main card streamed exclusively on Netflix and was included with a Netflix subscription.
Taylor (25-1, 6 KOs), the undisputed super lightweight champion, put her titles on the line against Serrano (47-4-1, 31 KOs) after winning the first two encounters – albeit not without controversy. The judges gave Taylor a hotly contested split decision in their 2022 battle, which also took place at MSG. Then this past November in Arlington, Texas, Taylor secured a unanimous decision victory despite being deducted a point for headbutts and causing a gnarly gash over Serrano’s right eye. The third entry was razor close as well, with an official judge seeing the fight as a draw.
