According to a report from L’Équipe, RC Lens have reached an agreement with Levante UD for the loan of Goduine Koyalipou (25). The exact amounts involved in this deal are not yet known, but it’s estimated that the La Liga side will pay a €500,000 loan fee.

The deal also includes a mandatory purchase clause that is triggered if certain conditions are met, such as Levante avoiding relegation, which is estimated to be worth around €5m. The Central African Republic international only arrived at Les Sang et Or during the winter transfer window on a €2m fee from CSKA Moscow.

His return to France (having previously come through the Chamois Niortais FC academy system) showed promise, and he scored four goals in 15 appearances for a goal-shy Lensois side. However, there were concerns over his ability to contribute to the team beyond his attacking prowess.

La Voix du Nord writes that Lens are looking to add another striker to their squad in the next few days, particularly as M’Bala Nzola has also left the squad with the striker returning back to his parent club, Fiorentina, following the end of his loan.
